New Year ... New Look! (with same Old New Me?)

I had been toying with the idea of changing the template for my blog; to avoid staleness and to improve it visually, even though I still like the clean and uncluttered look of the current template.So here's it - despite the fact that some of the formatting for the previous posts as well as some of the customisations may have gone haywire in the process!
Trust that you can bear with me while I'll try to put whatever mess back into order ... one posting at a time, when I have the time.
Meanwhile your feedback / comments on this 'new look' would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Just copy all the relevant html code from the old template and re-paste it back into the new template. Its not that difficult - trial n error to see if u'd put 'em back in the correct location. If u really messed it up; u can always go back to the old template! Game?
