While kayaking with Joe yesterday morning on Sg Bayor, we spotted an easy put-in opposite Kg Paoh Penyo where there was a small wooden jetty and I decided to check it out – this time, by car.After crossing Sg Jernang or is it Sg Jerenang (there were 2 signs there) I reached the jetty where there was a family waiting in the shed for the boatman to take them back to their kampong across the river, Kg Penyo; which houses approximately 100 malay families. Incidentally the boat ride across Sg Bayor will cost you exactly 30cents. But if you hop on in my kayak, it will be absolutely free!
