Of Awesome Sunset and Awful People

We were going for dinner yesterday evening and I spotted this family going into their car and obviously leaving. And obviously aware, from my indicator lights, that we wanted their parking lot; they took their own sweet time to vacate their parking spot. I’m sure we all had unfortunately encountered this type of character before. Pathetic people who seem to relish the ‘power’ they had over something that you wanted; even if it means a pathetic parking lot. Same sort of people but different situation, place and time. The truly ugly of the human species.
And so they make you wait. And waited we did for a aweful long time until the cars behind that we were holding up lost their patience and started honking. I resisted hitting the horn too and not wanting to hold up the traffic in the rain; I moved on rather than to wait any longer for this awful and mean person who's obviously relishing this. And just as I moved away, I could see from my rear view mirror that they finally decided to move; ‘happy’ that they had denied me the parking space! Amazing isn't it about the kind of unfathomable mentality of such people?
Anyway enjoy the awesome sunset that I took which I noticed when I got out of the car after letting my family out and finding another parking lot further down the road.
Come to think of it, I should and easily could have taken a photo of these selfish and dreadful people and shame them here but I didn’t. But then again small people like that are just not worth it.

And it is pretty 'obvious' when someone purposely make you wait.
The awesome sunset in the rain more than make up for the unpleasanties though. :)
PARKING SPACE: An area that vanishes as you make a U-Turn.
Sorry to hear about your parking troubles. Some people just won't go with the Flo of traffic.
fortunately, we kayakers don't encounter such parking woes on the waters! but if i do find a croc occupying a prime space, it'll certainly get no arguments from me!! no siree!
If you did, you would be as graceful as now..
LC people are everywhere, show your grace that will underpin the basta*d!
haha...
Pathetic and proud of it, some people are. But they are not worth the rage and depression. Small indeed.
Robins & agus - It's unavoidable that we would invariably encounter unpleasanties like these in the course of going about our business in life. The best we can do is not to react to 'em and practice patience and move on. It's really not worth d while to waste any energy on such pettiness/nastiness; whatever pathetic excuses/reasons they may indeed have to hold their grounds (parking space).

Nice sunset pictures.
Good thing you didn't take their pictures otherwise you would have been stuck with their faces all your life!! and I'm sure you do not want that, do you?
Have a nice day!
