I took this 'magical' photograph on Saturday morning after getting out of the waters at Kuala Salak after another successful dolphins watching kayaking trip with Wayne. I didn’t think too much of the photos I took until I went through them just now and much to my surprise I’d captured a ‘rainbow’ cloud! Could have just been the effects of flare on my len in the bright midday light. Whatever it is, it's nice and sure beats looking at that drab office building across the road!
Life can have some surprises in store for us sometimes; and hopefully they’re pleasant ones like this! Have a pleasant Tuesday!
Stumble It!
indeed a rare sight.. and definitely life's surprises.
flaneur - i agree. life's here in d now. but we foolishly forget. i'm guilty too. ;)
robin - i hope that one of that surprises for you is Elmo.
thanks. the race is on.. I heard someone has reported him to the authority and they are also hunting for him.
I don't like the word 'hunting'. It gives a negative connotation like the animal is bad. Elmo is not bad. I think he's just alone and frightened and disorientated. People should be out 'looking' for him instead of 'hunting' for him. Makes me wanna cry. So, so sad.
:(
happy - Elmo's unfortunately a little 'wild' at the moment being out there for so many days. If cornered, he may bite even Robin. So 'hunting for him' though negative sounding is 'appropriate' in the current context/situation.
Good luck Robin.
I still don't like it!
Robin, you take care when you're handling him, okay?
OMG!! I must say this is one of the best cloud pictures I have ever since. Ever since back to Kuching, one of the very temptating scene is those every-changing cloud. They are really pretty aren't they? FH2O, when can I try the kayaking? :P

Yes, an architects creations, no matter how ingenious, are no match for nature. And the drab ones...well.
flaneur's quote from Wind and the Willows is great.
oh my.. I did put my comment in a wrong box for the rainbow, kekekeke
fish fish - I'd set the bar higher with this cloud photo for any unker-wannabe-cloud-photographer! heehee! ;)
I'm full for this sunday n so far 3-4 parties for sat Rainforest Kayak Trip, so u may wanna join sat trip?
On weekdays, Azmi (my capable assistant n State Racing Kayak representative) would be happy to take anyone out (min 2 pax). Call me lah! :)
a^ben - I'll let u in on a secret - the clouds only put on a show me only lah since I'm their no. 1 fan! ;)
panda - great prompt from flaneur to get re-acquainted with this classic. I believe i'll probably enjoy it more this time round compared to when i was still wet behind the ears ... ;)
selba - no problem, lay off Robin n stay here a while longer ... trust me - it would be safer! ;)
That's spectacular! I wish I could see more skies like that right now...and fewer thunderstorms...
Good surprises are always a wonderful thing. The ones that aren't so good (such as having my modem cooked by an unpredicted thunderstorm) can definitely be done without.
Speaking of surprises, I'm happy to see Selba here in a good mood. I was afraid she went away thinking we were all evil.
Whoa.. that's amazing! It's so beautiful..
I saw a 'complete' rainbow yesterday too.. It was simply breathtaking.
May = )
looking at this photo reminds me of this song...
"Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true"
definitely not lens flare, marvellous catch!
Amazing! Magical without a doubt.
