Home Baked Magic

posted by Francis Ho

My wife and daughter had been busy the past few nights baking cookies – chocolate chips, double chocolate and ‘twinkle delight’; so that KH2o can sell them during the school’s musical concert to raise funds for her class’s prom night. I’ve never heard of such things in my olden days.

But it was sheer delight to see mother and daughter’s bonding through baking and an even greater delight to savor the freshly baked cookies which is perfect with my cappuccino! Yes, perfect! "Life is like a box of cookies ..."

Many thanks to all the bloggers who bought the cookies at the "mini-blogger's meet" organised by Laksa (on the far left) last night at Coffee Bean @ Sarawak Plaza to meet up with Pelf the 'riverine-turtles-expert' from West Malaysia. Hmmm, who's that big guy (with so far still intact body parts) at the far right of the picture on my left who made a brief appearance?
