Smoke On The Water

Apart from the unintended (and numerous) swims, we had a fun but pretty much uneventful and peaceful float down the Sungai Sarawak Kanan today. ;)Joe wanted to share the joys of kayaking through the rainforest and invited his friends Gilbert, Felicity, Alvin and "I-Love-Swimming!" Jeffrey to come along. Bev was with me to keep everyone in check, kind of, as she went swimming too! Guess who was the only dry person in the group? Heehee!
Anyway here are some pics and the smokers (they needed their ocassional 'power-stick' breaks) informed me that the smoke was necessary to help keep the sand flies away!
And drinking keeps the bad spirits at bay too right?
