Romanian Mystery

Over the past few days there have been a sudden spike in the number of visitors to my site and no, Kenny Sia did not blog about me again (how I wished)! I had been quite busy the past few days and didn’t have time to check this out. So just now after dinner and hair cut (Yes, do not be rude, I technically still have hairs), I logged into StatCounter and much to my surprise nearly 65% of the visitors are from Romania! No kidding!


This is quite a mystery and I’m really intrigued by what the Romanians would find intriguing about kayaking in Kuching! I mean what interest would someone in Kuching have in Romania for instance; football? I mean this is wonderful but strange.

So if any of you kind Romanians out there are reading this, can you kindly please let me know why so many of your country man are here? I am most interested and curious to know. So many thanks to you in advance. And a warm welcome to you all of course and thank you for visiting my blog.

This would certainly be most interesting to find out! What a wonderful mystery! Can any of you folks out there offer any idea or have any clue? Has this ever happened to you? I am really clueless this time!

Seriously, I think someone could be playing tricks with you like writing a computer program to manipulate the counts or something like that... I really dun know but who'd be so "bo liao"???

Anyway, a possible answer for Francis: a couple of days ago there was an article which appeared on a number of Romanian online news resources and forums regarding the experiment made by the 2 russians reporters who tried to boil an egg with 2 mobile phones. Although this is somehow old news, probably many tried to find the article online. And now comes the funny part: if you do a search on Google for the following keywords "Komsomolskaya Pravda egg mobile", the first site listed is your blog !

Although you also have mentioned this article in your blog, it is strange that it appears as a first hit in Google results :)

strange indeed that I'm a first hit in Google Results but I'm not complaining that the search engine likes FH2o! :)
