Fascination
posted by Francis Ho
As a child we are naturally curious and everything is fascinating and interesting to us but sadly we as we grew up and especially in this age of instant gratification and fast pace of life we get jaded and bored too easily; and it takes a river trip through the rainforests to bring the child out of us, like it did for Aida and Miriam peering into the nooks and crevices of this overhanging rock outcrop fascinated like little kids! Fascinating isn't it?Note: I was mucking around with Photoshop Elements 4.0 for the first time just now and playing with this blurred phtoto I took on sunday by trying out the various built-in effects and was surprised at how easy and quick it was to come up with a graphically presentable photo like the one above. You may want to give it a try when you have some time over this weekend. I'm pleasantly surprised and pleased with the result. It's a whole lot easier to learn and use than Photoshop.

welcome to the world of photoshop elements! been using it for 2 years now... stumbled onto it when i was struggling to make sense of photoshop...
anyways, your pictures are great, with photoshop elements or not...
like you said, it's about learning to have an eye of what's nice...
:)
was looking at some of your old posts, and your fat/adorable yin-yan caught my attention!
could you like post some pictures of yin-yan, or email me some? hope it's not too much to ask...

chen - it's not that time consuming; all in all i took less than an hour from installing the program and posting the pic! being a 'less powerful' program there are less control what you want exactly but its good enough for a 'quick n dirty' job.
sharon - thanks to you i took at look at photoshop elements! I should not overlook other 'lesser' programs in future.
tell you what; give me a call and you can meet ying-yang in the flesh this weekend! she's not fat - just generously endowed! ;)she loves ppl
