Interesting. From the close-up picture, they look like seedless guava. Have you opened up any to see how the inside look like? What about the tree where these come from, the shape of the tree, the leaves, the tree trunk and branches? Any close-up picture?

happy - next time I should cut it open and take a photo of it. the others were not so interested and didn't wait up, so we had to hurry and didn't take any photos of the tree. next time!

i agree with happysurfer, it looks like seedless guava :D
I read that if you eat those you will turn into a half-human half-fish monster.

I did cut it open and inside are lots of seeds much like guava but not compact inside.
