Hoping for a return to normalcy

I had discovered in the past two days the disadvantage of having your blog hosted in overseas (the U.S.) servers following the aftermath of the damages to the undersea cables from the earthquake(s) in Taiwan. Particularly if the servers are not from some big companies which have more re-routing facilities. As it is my blog page now takes forever to load. I am now wishing that I'm hosted on blogger's free servers instead. *sigh*

I wonder how many more days (not weeks I hope!) it would take for the connections to be restored before there would be a return to some semblance of normalcy to my blogging routine. I can't believe that I'm talking like this even! Heavens forbid, I must qualify as a 'blogger' now whatever that term means or imply. *sigh*

This is the first time for me to be online for several days now, but this page actually loaded up quicker than it did before! I guess they solved the problem...at least going in my direction.

Still...my mother in the U.S. tried to call me on the 26th and was told all trans-Pacific phone traffic was down because of the cable damage. Either they've just fixed it or Japan is luckier than Malaysia...

What a picture! Double your pleasure, double your fun?
what an interesting & funny pic.. u sure its not photoshopped??

yeah, what does blogger mean anyway? we get slapped with a title just because some of us enjoy posting up random ramblings of our life? has it become such a routine that we feel it serves more to entertain others? it started out as a place to express ourselves individually imo, but has it become more than that? hmm...
butt, butt, butt....

I live in the U.S. and can not access many sites hosted in Malaysia and if I can access them they are VERY slow. I also can not phone malaysia at any time of the day. I get a message that all circuits to malaysia are busy.
