Mentioned & Featured - Nice!

This is nice - just after celebrating my big five-O, I've been mentioned and also featured as well; with December definitely getting off to a great start and what a nice finishing touch to a great year!
First off, the number of hits to my blog has more than quadrupled (well for a day or two at least) since Kenny Sia briefly mentioned that I was his deliveryman for the finger food to his party. *sigh*
Secondly, the clever and talented trio of Alphonsus, Victor and Thomas at www.the-guides.info had put together a very nice video of our rainforest kayaking trip as a feature for the launch of the latest and greatest information web guide to Kuching; but done with a new and different twist - video! I'm honoured that they'd picked our kayaking trip video as a feature to 'soft-launch' their website. I knew that Alphonsus and Thomas enjoyed the kayaking experience tremendously last Friday together with Kelvin and Chisa but I never expected this. Thanks guys! And here's the QuickTime clip featuring yours truly in it for your viewing pleasure. Alphonsus reckoned that it could have been better but they wanted to rush it out for their 1st December 2006 soft launch; but I think this is still a very nice video, right?
And finally, I'll be taking off for holidays this weekend! Like I said - December is getting off to a great start! Have a wonderful weekend, irregardless!

mm - the alphosus, victor and thomas from the-guides info did a great job rushing the this from start to finish in less than a week. this would be a very useful 'trailer' for me!
