One Week in Bangkok - Nice Again!

Miscellaneous snapshots of Bangkok taken on previous tripsI’ll be away on holidays in Bangkok with the family next week and we're catching the afternoon flight later. My wife booked the tickets and this obedient (!) husband will just tag along! I don’t know about you but when I visit a new country or place, I resist the temptations to find out too much about the place lest it clouds my judgment and diminish the joy and fun of the experience of finding out new things for yourself. Although I had been to Bangkok previously over the years, the family have not and my 15-year old daughter is looking forward to the shopping. She has already started to negotiate with me her shopping allowance.
I may or not blog while on holidays depending on how I feel and the convenient accessibility to a cyber place. The hotel would most likely have wireless facilities but I’m not bringing along my notebook as I want myself and my 2 boys to get away from the computer and enjoy all the things that Bangkok has to offer. The youngest boy has already asked to be taken to see a “Tiffany” show and don’t ask me where he gets such information and ideas from! *sigh*We’ll miss the comforts of home and our dogs and I’ll miss the kayaking. But on second thought we’ll most probably be too busy enjoying ourselves in Bangkok to be missing anything in Kuching! Cheers!
