Chap Goh Mei Fireworks in Kuching
posted by Francis Ho
On sunday night we were invited to a friend's house for a delicious chap goh mei reunion dinner with their family members. And what a large family it was as it would seem like half the neighbourhood were there!
During and after dinner we were 'entertained' by fireworks which went off sounding like rockets and bombs!
And here are some of the interesting pictures that turned out surprisingly well as I played with the settings on my digital camera. But with the racket going on I really feel sorry for the neighbours who may be wanting a quiet evening as well as the dogs ... *sigh* They must be glad that the Chinese New Year celebrations are finally over.

Post a CommentWow, fantastic shots. None of the fireworks I saw during chap goh mei look this good.
creart - Thanks but credit should be given more to luck than skill in capturing these shots! However I must add that I increase my 'luck' by taking tons of shots!
Those are beautiful shots. All I can say is what everyone says about fireworks - ooooooo, aaaaaaa, oh! wwwooowww!
