Limited and Eccentric Can Be Threatening?
posted by Francis Ho
Its amazing how a blog 'limited' to kayaking, photographs of skies, water and trees; and the mild occasional comment on life and people can ruffled feathers - and least unexpectedly from people in your own organization whom you would never expect to know of, much less read your blog. I must be more famous than I thought I was but with an average daily hits in the hundreds, perhaps there are some equally strange people who must find it to be some amusement. Or maybe some of those who do are also a sucker for punishment to want to come back and re-visit even though they hate my pics, views or whatever. *sigh* If it upsets you so much, please don't visit this blog!I just blog whatever I like and I do enjoy looking at my own photographs. I really do not need any justification nor do I seek popularity or approval as well. To my detractors - I did not specifically ask you to come here; did I? Unless you think my views are of such importance, in which case, you would need to get your little head examined ... Maybe it's really time that I do not allow anonymous comments where the small minded and cowardly like to hide.

Sometime by being different in your outlook and a refusal to be pigeon-holed by what everybody else is thinking or doing might relegate one to being eccentric or as an outcast at worst. Not that I cared or am I bothered as I am happy with my life and what I am doing right now. And I know I am making my share of contribution wherever I go and in whatever I do. Perhaps mediocre people get threatened by people who are competent and have dreams. However I have no intention to cause hurt or offense to anyone. I do not want to waste my energy nor do I derive any pleasure or benefit in doing so. I may be strange but I am not sick!
Irregardless have a unlimited and unusually fun weekend! Life's too be short to dwell on wasteful thinking. Be well

Post a CommentHi Francis, ... such "people" are everywhere. They are really irritating but I won't waste any time reacting to them. They can only hide so long under the rock.

Francis, no matter what you say, someone is always going to find fault with or take offense at it. The more readers you have, the more of these thin-skinned hotheads you're going to attract...like flies to a pie. All those idiotic flamings you got are just proof of your popularity, though I'm surprised more people didn't come to your defense (unless they were afraid of becoming targets, too).
Stick to your guns.
Stick to your guns.
i find this is all quite amusing, really. some people are just so uptight in their perceptions toward life. *sigh*
