Teenage Kayaking
posted by Francis Ho
2 British families who are living and working in KL are on holidays in Kuching for the first time and took the holiday package from CPH Travel Agency which includes our rainforest kayaking trip. They have teenage kids and like all teenagers they get bored easily and were reluctantly 'joining in the fun' with their parents who wanted to drag them away from televisions and computers.
See, even the parents can have fun!But as soon as we got going, guess who were having the most fun along the way - so much so that they were dragging their feet when it was time to get out of the waters.
Climbing a hanging vine though more tiring, is a lot more fun than climbing stairs. The Kelly and Slater families were most appreciative of the fun and adventures that they had and though not necessary; insisted and tipped us generously. We enjoyed it as much seeing other people sharing and having the same fun and sense of wonderment that we do.

Ahh...the joie de vivre of being young and doing silly/fun things ;) hee..hee!
dilvin - Haha! Good memories indeed despite the cut on Wendy's thumb ...
Hey! I manage to even 'squeeze' in cycling these days! Read all about it in the recent postings. ;o)
serenity - I'm far from being 'young' chronologically but am still doing silly/fun things! The next time you folks are back in Kuching; call me so that we can arrange to do some of these on the waters!
